Who Are We?

The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center is the ArkLaTex's first full service veterinary medical and surgical facility dedicated solely to the care of felines.  We are located at 2900 Youree Drive in Shreveport, LA and while we love all animals, we are a feline-exclusive veterinary practice.  The primary advantage of this is that your cat is more relaxed in a quiet, peaceful, non-threatening atmosphere.

Hectic schedules are a way of life for many pet owners today and at The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center, we understand!  Busy lifestyles or transportation issues can sometimes be all that prevent your cat from getting the proper veterinary care that it needs. 

Rushing to work?  Have a carload of kids to get to school on time, but your cat needs vaccinations or any of our other services?  We're here for you and we can help!  For no additional charge, you may leave your cat with us for the day and pick him/her up that same evening!  For an additional fee, we offer a pick up and delivery service, and in special circumstances, house calls, to ensure that we are doing all we can to help you maintain your cat's optimum health.

Luxury Boarding Facilities For Your Cat!

Kitty townhouses, glass-doored, three-tiered condos offer a quiet, spacious alternative to stainless steel cage boarding.  Each townhome is furnished with snuggly sheepskin bedding, fun kitty toys, and private concealed litter boxes so that your cat will enjoy all the comforts of home while you are away. 

These ultra-modern "kitty condos" can be joined together to allow visitation between cats from the same household, thus enabling interaction with each other while maintaining their own space to retreat to as well.
