We often see cats that aren’t feeling well or have been injured. We will discuss your cat’s history, pertinent information, and observations that might aid us in determining the problem. We will also perform a thorough physical examination, in addition to any necessary diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, blood tests, and ultra sound, to help us determine the best course of treatment for your feline friend.
At The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center, our on-site laboratory allows us to perform diagnostic lab testing to help us determine the best treatment plan for your cat's medical condition. In most cases, your cat's laboratory results will be available the same day. Results can be shared to help you and your Veterinarian determine treatment options available for your cat's health care needs.
Lots of changes can occur from year to year, especially as your cat gets older. Preventative health care recommendations are made based on examination findings and your cat’s individual needs and situation, which you help us to determine. This may include blood, urine, or fecal tests, vaccinations, dietary or exercise advice, and life-style changes.
We utilize state-of-the-art surgical techniques should your cat require a surgical procedure. We offer a full range of soft tissue surgeries from routine spays and neuters to more advanced procedures. We also utilize laser surgery to help your cat recover faster and with less pain than traditional surgical methods. We also offer comprehensive pain management to ensure that your cat will be as comfortable as possible.
Digital X-rays of your pet are taken normally, however instead of using film and chemicals, as in the past, we can now process your pet's X-ray directly onto our computer screen using digital technology. Digital X-rays produce a much better quality X-ray image, giving us a much clearer image of the bones and soft tissue. Digital X-ray allows us to see far more detail than we ever could before on a standard x-ray, making diagnosis of particular problems much quicker and easier.
We also offer advanced color doppler ultrasound technology to help us diagnose your cat's medical condition without the trauma of invasive exploratory surgery.
Ultrasound imaging can give us a clear and precise format from which to determine the most effective treatment options for your feline friend.
cat's heart rate and vital signs to better determine how well your cat is responding to treatment during surgical procedures.
At The Cat Doctor Feline Medical Center, we offer complete feline dental services and feline dental treatments.
Dr. Coker will help you choose the dental care procedures that are right for your cat.
Is your cat's diet out of control? We can help with special prescription diet plans designed especially for cats.
