We Remember Dooley
Dooley
Dog Duffey
February 17, 1994 – February 17, 2009
Dooley Dog, named by
Lynn Duffey, was better known as Dooley, The Wonder Dog. He was a special
little dog, not a loving dog, but full of love. Independent, nosy, picky,
curious, tough, feisty and truly loyal. He had a special love for Lynn, Ron,
Dana, William and Dovey . . . and we all loved him.
He must surely be in
his place in Dog Heaven – carefully placed, head toward the door to Heaven,
guarding for any intruder.
You see, he was a true
Alfa Dog. He felt his responsibility was to protect his pack. We were just
fortunate to be counted in his pack.
For exactly fifteen
years, he has ruled The Duffey Household. He has left a terrible void and
emptiness in our hearts. We loved him like no others. Dooley Dog quietly
passed away and was buried on his fifteenth birthday. We miss him already.
There will be other
Dooleys but there will never, ever be another Dooley Dog.
Our thanks to Ron & Lynn Duffy for this memorial

We Remember Blossom |

A Poem
for Blossom, our sweetest friend . . . .
My darling as I
hold you near,
My heart is aching
so.
I know that you
must go away,
It's something we
both know.
Acceptance is the
hardest part
Of knowing I'll
remain.
For I know that
when you're free at last,
I will cry with
heartfelt pain.

|
Each memory has
been traced with love
Deep within my
heart.
I never dreamed the
day would come
When we would be
apart.
For as I hold you
in my arms
And whisper our
last goodbye,
I'll cherish every
memory
Until the day I
die.
For when my soul is
released and free,
I'll come to you my
friend.
And the love we
share once again
Will be eternal
with no end.

We Remember Sebastian
|
|

|
My Dearest Sebastian,
I truly believe you were God's gift to me to
bring joy and happiness. From the moment you reached out of your cage at
the shelter, snagging my new shirt and ripping a six inch hole, to all the times
the neighbors thought I was crazy as I chased you around the yard, your tail
curled tight like a furry question mark, your way of laughing as you sped out of
sight. To all the nights when you slept with your head on my pillow with
eyes so full of love and trust, as my hand grazed your head I could hear that
deep sigh of content and the purr that always put me to sleep.

Together we traveled the county and our hearts,
finding that which we both desired - someone to
love us just the way we are. Thank you to
Dr. Christy and Coweta Animal Hospital for
giving us 20 years of sharing life and love.
You are the one that
forever stole my heart,
And forever I will miss
you.
